Workshop Info

This workshop is a combination of indoor theory followed by a field trip to put into practice your new skills. If you have ND filters but not sure how to use them, then this workshop is perfect for you. It is also aimed at those thinking of buying themselves a set of filters. By the end of the workshop you will be confident in the use of Nisi ND, ND grads and polarizsing filters.
Our workshop starts with indoor theory, then we head into the field to put into practice your new skills.

  • INTRODUCTION TO THE NISI FILTER SYSTEM
  • Explanation of ND Filters, these create a long exposure
  • Explanation of ND Grad Filters, these control brighter parts of the scene
  • When and when not to use a Polariser
  • Setting up the filter system on your camera
  • Combining all three filters
  • Advice on what filters to buy
  • Hands on in the field session
