About

During this workshop our entire time is spent in the field, we will be exploring more advanced techniques for maximizing the effects of using ND filters, ND grads and polarizers. I will also demonstrate the ways that you can combine these filters for some stunning results. This workshop is perfect for those that have ND filters but need some guidance and tuition on their use.
Shooting long exposures varies from camera to camera, so we will go through your particular settings and I can guide you with any workarounds that will suit your camera.

  • Using ND Filters to create long exposures
  • Using ND Grad Filters to control tricky exposures
  • When and when not to use a Polariser
  • Combining multiple filters
  • Exploring shutter speeds
  • How to shoot  exposures longer than 30 seconds on YOUR camera
  • Demonstration of the Nisi Filter System
  • Transportation supplied during workshop
As this workshop is aimed at the more advanced use of filters you will need to have your own set of filters to use on the day.
