The NiSi 70x100mm Nano IR Reverse Graduated Neutral Density Filter – GND8 (0.9) – 3 Stop
The 100x150mm Reverse Nano IR Soft Graduated Neutral Density filter from Nisi is specially designed for landscape photographers.
This filter is made from high quality optical glass (not resin) with nano coatings to prevent losing any single bit of detail. Sunset and sunrise photography sometimes can be a challenge. Nisi reverse ND filter is designed with the dark area in the center of the filter and gradually clearer to the top while the bottom part is clear preventing over exposure of skyline.
This filter measures 70 x 100mm and is compatible with the Nisi 70mm filter holder. The filter can be re-positioned in the holder allowing recompose the photo for the best result.
When using neutral density filters the camera is vulnerable to infrared light which will cast the unwanted red color to the photos when shooting at small apertures.
Nisi added the infrared protection coating layer to this filter which helps to eliminate the infrared light through the lens to bring back the natural color.
The NiSi 70mm filter system is great for compact and mirrorless cameras with lenses that have a standard filter thread from 39mm to 58mm.
