Flinders Island
Flinders is a small Island that sits to the North East of Tasmania. It is truly one of the most amazing places I have visited. Endless beautiful beaches with turquoise water and incredible rock formations. As a photographic location it has to be the best kept secret in Australia.
What makes it so unique is that it is incredibly untouched and pristine, pick any beach and you have a 99% chance that you will be the only one on it. But it is not all beaches and rocks, the Island is mountainous and is also one of 52 islands in the Furneaux Group. There is also an abundance of wildlife, including, wallabies, wombats, echidna.

Flinders Island exceeded all my expectations. The island is rustic, with unspoilt beaches, bright blue water and lots of wallabies. The accommodation was clean, warm and comfortable and the food was healthy and delicious. The variety of locations was fantastic and Dean knew where all the best spots were!
