Exploring the mountains and lakes between Queenstown and Lake Tekapo we will have fantastic scenery, with the backdrop of snow capped mountains. My first workshop here was back in 2015, every year I return I'm still astounded by the South Island's raw beauty.... the people are amazing too. I have carefully planned the itinerary of this workshop to include maximum time for shooting. I think you will find that the variety of locations will give you plenty of opportunities to explore and expand your photography. I will be working one on one with you, guiding and providing support along the way. At the end of each day, we will retire to fantastic accommodation where you will have the privacy of a single room. Breakfast and main meals are included and are on par with the scenery. As a photo destination, the South Island of New Zealand is world-class, I do hope you can join me as we tour this amazing country. |

Locations
Queenstown - This breathtaking location is surrounded by mountains and sits on the shore of the beautiful crystal clear Lake Wakatipu. We will have a couple of days here, as we explore north to Glenorchy and Kinloch. Leaving Queenstown we head to Wanaka, we will photograph "That Tree" and some other locations that are less visited by tourist. Leaving Wanaka we will head out through some beautiful country side before we reach Lindis Pass. Lake Ohau is a lesser known spot away from the tourists, we will call in here before heading to Mt Cook. We have a few options at Mt Cook but it is very weather dependent. What ever the weather, it is a spot not to be missed. |

Our next stop is Tekapo.
Our sunrise shoot will be at "The Church of Good Shepherd". This famous little church sits on the shores of Lake Tekapo and is a "must do".
We have an optional flight here over the Mount Cook area, again this is very weather dependent.
