The Great Southern Ocean - Hidden Gems - Secret Spots
The Great Ocean Road is an area I have had the pleasure of photographing for over 20 years and I have found many fantastic spots to photograph. At the southern end of The Great Ocean Road is what I call The Great Southern Ocean, during 2020 and 2021 I spent many hours exploring this area, and boy did I find some gems! Wild seas and some epic spots just begging to be photographed. Join me on this workshop and I'll share with you some of the best seascapes you will find in Victoria... and no tourists.
Workshop Highlights
What will I learn
During this workshop you will have ample opportunity to shoot stunning seascapes.
Due to our small group size, I am able to tutor and guide you, tailoring my teaching to your level and experience. I look forward to sharing my thoughts and processes on constructing and composing an image. I will also teach you techniques that will allow you to visually "See the Image". Demo Nisi filters will be on hand, so if you haven't shot Long Exposures during the day, this will be a chance to try these and be guided on how to use them. Location - Getting There
Our base for the workshop is Warrnambool and we will start by 5 p.m on the Thursday.
As a photographer you will love the drive from Melbourne to Warrnambool via the coastal road. It provides you plenty of opportunities to wet your photographic appetite before the workshop starts. This workshop starts at 5pm Thursday at Warrnambool and will finish mid morning Sunday.
Warrnambool is 3 hours from Melbourne via the inland road, if you do have time then travel along the coast as it is very scenic.

Transport
Transport for this workshop is included, I'll be taking my 4x4 and my partner Letizia will drive the second vehicle, which is a VW Golf wagon, so there will be plenty of room and it will be comfortable.
Accommodation
Stone Keepers Run is a home with an eclectic mix of curios and collectables, beautiful interiors and individual amenities.
A country style kitchen with large gas range creates a warm heart to the home. The Dining room, Breakfast room or Summer House provide places to gather and share a meal.
All bedrooms feature unique styling, 100% pure flax linen sheets and quality bedding.
Manicured gardens lead you from the deck to the summer house, all overlooking the Hopkins river.
Meals
As we have a fully functional kitchen, Letizia and I will prepare all of your meals, this will give us total flexibility, and believe me the meals will be delicious.
