Flinders Island

Flinders is a small Island that sits to the North East of Tasmania. It is truly one of the most amazing places I have visited. Endless beautiful beaches with turquoise water and incredible rock formations. As a photographic location it has to be the best kept secret in Australia.
What makes it so unique is that it is incredibly untouched and pristine, pick any beach and you have a 99% chance that you will be the only one on it. But it is not all beaches and rocks, the Island is mountainous and is also one of 52 islands in the Furneaux Group. There is also an abundance of wildlife, including, wallabies, wombats, echidna.

We will be staying at the wonderful Mountain Seas Lodge, and we have the whole place to ourselves. You will have a King or Queen room to yourself and all meals will be catered for in-house using local and organic produce..... perfect !!

How to get to Flinders Island

Sharp Airlines will get you to Flinders Island. You can take the Monday flight from Melbourne or arrive before.
Our workshop finishes on Friday and there is a flight back to Melbourne at 10.35am.
