Bay of Fires, Tasmania
If you are after stunning coastal scenery then join me in Tasmania for this fantastic workshop. The Bay of Fires is in the North East of Tasmania, we will be based at Binalong Bay and we will have amazing locations at our fingertips, saturated with shooting locations and opportunities we don't have to venture far in the car which to me makes a perfect location. Bay of Fires is famous for it's red lichen covered rocks and beautiful beaches, I have many locations to take you too, each one is just a little bit different and we will also explore some inland Forrest and waterfalls just to mix it up a bit.
This workshop will start and finish at Launcestion, from there we will travel to Binalong Bay, you can of course meet me at Binalong Bay but if you are flying in then Launcestion is our pick up and drop off point.
What will I learn
Seascapes remain some of the most amazing and breathtaking pictures ever taken and this workshop affords you a very unique opportunity to learn seascape photography from one of the most experienced and skilled seascape photographers in the profession; Me.
Ever looked at a picture of a stormy sea scene set against high reefs and skies flecked with diverse colours stretching hungrily until it joins the roiling sea on the horizon? It never loses its magnificence and enchantment. Capturing such scenes requires a skill set that needs to be imparted from someone who has sufficient experience.
The Seascapes Workshop has been packaged to teach you very rare skills in the trade. You will thus be learning secrets and nuances that enable only very few people to effectively master seascape photography and this will be open to you in a very unique environment.
The location of this Seascape Workshop is Bay of Fires in Tasmania which is picture perfect for the purpose. Learning seascape photography requires that you be attuned to the environment and while at The Bay of Fires you will find it easy to locate and make choices based on various parameters which I will teach you. We will have a variety of beaches from which to choose and the opportunities for coastal photography are bountiful.
In all, what you will get from this workshop is a unique experience, one that must be approached with an open mind and expectation of learning rare skills and techniques.
The workshop will commence by 5 p.m on the Friday and run through, finishing by mid-morning the following Monday. As earlier mentioned, the venue is Bay of Fires, Tasmania
